Humour in politics

The single most important gift the Modi government has given to its citizens is the sense of humour, which was traditionally supposed to be rare in Indians. From white to black and gray, one can access all shades of comedy through newspapers, TV news channels and online.
Be it killing for cow or groom killing for mare, these incidents are part of ultimate black humour. Justification of human shield by our brave soldiers, hounding of couples on the premise of love jihad, or persecution of students, the state of state's affair has taught us laughing at ourselves.
With sundry netas competing with each other to grab public attention through their ever innovative antiques, giving standup comedians run for their money, connoisseurs of humour could not have any better. Practical jokes and anecdotes are floating all around the political and social life of the nation to satiate the ever-growing appetite for raw humour.
Latest to join the fun bandwagon is no less a person than a judge. Babus and cops are already onboard. With his cockey innuendo the judge has given the humour refreshingly new meaning. Why can't we revive our foreign exchange by exporting this shuddh shakahari desi humour.
